The Parry McCluer Lady Fighting Blues (13-2, 5-1) cruised to a 62-29 Pioneer District victory on Tuesday over the Covington Cougars (2-15, 2-3).
In the win Anna Claytor lead all scorers with a game-high 25 points to lead the Lady Fighting Blues past the Lady Cougars. Meanwhile Victoria Hamilton added 15.
Lauren Bragg led the Lady Cougars in scoring with a team-high 14 points.

Last Friday at the Cougar Den, the girls basketball team picked up their second win of the season following 50-37 victory over the Rockets.
The Lady Cougars were backed by three players in double figures. Wall led the way Lady Cougars with a game-high 18 points. Meanwhile, L. Bragg had her eighth double-double of the season with 16 points and 20 rebounds, and Ty’Aieja Smith added 11 points.
Hannah Ratliff led the way in scoring for the Rockets with nine points.
The Lady Cougars swept the seasons series with the Lady Rockets.
