The Alleghany Highlands Regional Library is offering free classes for adults and teens interested in increasing their digital knowledge base. The AHRL Digital Literacy series aims to increase patrons’ familiarity with computers, as well as teach participants basic skills to perform online tasks.
The third class in the AHRL Digital Literacy series is Social Media Basics. In this session, participants will work through the basics of navigating the most popular social media channels. Topics covered will include: social media privacy policies; adjusting privacy settings; and maintaining social media pages.
Local instructor Adrienne Young will offer Social Media Basics on Tuesday, January 17th beginning at 6:00 pm.
