Edna Collins Walker Buffaloe, 90, of 1412 Hatcher Street died Saturday, September 19, 2020, at her home.
Mrs. Buffaloe was born October 26, 1929, in Alleghany County a daughter of the late William and Betty Crane Collins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first Husband, Cyrus V. “Billy” Walker, her second Husband, Rufus Buffaloe, a Son, Randy Walker, a Grandson, Craig Walker and also by two sisters and one brother.
She was the retired office manager of the former dentist office of Dr. Ben Meeks. She was a longtime member of McAllister Memorial Presbyterian Church and Circle #2 of the church. She was a member of Good Hope Rebekah Lodge, the Red Hat Society, a Life Member of the Women of the Moose and a Life Member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
Surviving are her Daughter, Charlene Walker of Covington; three Sons, Gary Walker and his Wife, Diane, Tommy Walker and his Wife, Pat, and Danny L. Walker, all of Covington; five grandchildren, Jeff and Beth Walker, Tracey and Terra Walker, Cy and Jessica Walker, Kimberly and Josh French and Jin Hoke; nine great grandchildren; two Sisters, Hazel Miller and Jewell Jamison, both of Columbus, Ohio; one Brother, Woody Collins, of Rathdrum, Idaho, several nieces and nephews and her special caregiver, Cathy Walton.
The funeral service will be held Monday, September 21, 2020, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Arritt Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Moss officiating.
Interment will be made in Alleghany Memorial Park.
Active pallbearers will be Jeff Walker, Tracey Walker, Cy Walker, Josh French, Kimberly French, Jin Hoke,and Barry Pelkey.
The family will receive their friends for one hour prior to the service at Arritt Funeral Home.
The family suggests that memorial donations in her name be made to McAllister Memorial Presbyterian Church; 900 N. Alleghany Ave.; Covington, VA 24426.
