Callaghan Elementary will be closed Thursday, November 3 and Friday, November 4, 2022, due to a large number of probable flu cases.
The school began additional deep cleaning earlier this week, and this closure is occurring out of an abundance of caution.
School division officials have consulted with VDH staff this evening.
All other Alleghany Highlands Public Schools sites remain open.
