Alleghany/Covington Sheriff’s Office arrested two Clifton Forge individuals for church break-ins

The Alleghany/Covington Sheriff’s Office arrested two Clifton Forge individuals Friday September 9th in connection with a break-in on September 6th at the Immanuel Baptist Church on Douthat Road.

Matthew Lan Bancroft 19 of Clifton Forge and Madajah Lynn Shinault 21 of Clifton Forge have both been charged with the following offenses. One Felony count each of break and enter and two misdemeanor counts each of petit larceny less than $1,000.

Both arrestees were released on a personal recognizance bond by the magistrate.

Captain Scott Fischer was the investigating officer and was assisted by Lt. Fridley, Deputy Soto, and Clifton PD Sergeant Urban.
