The Lake Moomaw One Mile Swim was held on Saturday August 20th with 64 swimmers participating. The race began and ended at Cole’s Point Beach area of Lake Moomaw.

The Lake Moomaw One Mile Swim concludes the outdoor sporting events for the Chamber in 2022. “We would like to thank the volunteers of the community and our wonderful sponsors; without these individuals and businesses our events wouldn’t be successful. We are always excited to host these events so visitors can see and enjoy all that the Alleghany Highlands has to offer” said Chamber Executive Director Teresa Hammond.
