The Bath County Chargers dropped their recent outing on the green at the Botetourt Golf and Swim Club against the James River Knights on Tuesday.
In a nine hole, par 35, the Knights prevailed 180-240.
In the loss, the Chargers were led by Carter Hooker who shot a 50 for the day. Meanwhile, Isaac Ingram finished with a 60.
For the winning Knights, a rarity occurred where all four of their golfers were medalist as they each tied with a 45 for the match.
The Chargers will have a few days off before their next golf outing. The team will be back on the green this coming Wednesday when they head to the Blacksburg Municipal for a mini Pioneer District tournament.

Meanwhile for the Alleghany Mountaineers and the Covington Cougars, their golf outing on Tuesday with Rockbridge County at the Lexington Golf and Country Club was postponed. The rescheduled match will take place this Tuesday, September 6th.
On Wednesday, the Mountaineers and Cougars were back on the green with Wilson Memorial at the Cliff View Golf Club.
