Alleghany County Public School honored employees who retired during the current school year with a luncheon on Tuesday, June 7, 2022. First row from left are Superintendent Kim Halterman and retirees Cathy Leitch, Becky Burgess, Ellen Jones, and Jeanne Harris. Second row: Teresa Gibson, Robert Tucker, Angie Jones, Betsy Ruggiero, and Ronnie Humphries. Sixteen people retired from the school division with combined experience totaling 396 years. The luncheon was held at the Central Office Complex in Low Moor.
