Renovations to the Alleghany County Circuit Court Clerk’s Office will begin on Monday, Oct., 4, and continue for at least two weeks.
During the renovation, the office staff will be placed in the “Record Room” of the clerk’s office to perform its regular duties. The “Record Room” will be limited to only two public terminals being available during the renovation period.
“The office will remain open during the renovations; however, if possible, it is highly recommended that any business or research be done prior to October 4 or after the renovation period to help minimize traffic flow,” said Bebra Byer, clerk of the circuit court.
Criminal payments can be made online @www.vacourts.gov or by mail at P.O. Box 670, Covington, Va.24426.
“When possible please make requests for copies by mail, you may call ahead to ensure you submit the correct fees,” Byer said. “We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and cooperation during the renovation.”
