Bath County Sheriff's Office Hiring New Deputies

The Bath County Sheriff’s office is currently accepting applications for new deputies.

According to the job announcement, “Starting salary will follow Virginia Compensation Board guidelines. Applicants must be at least 21-years-of-age, have a high school or GED diploma, and be able to pass a physical exam and background check.

Applicants must attend and pass mandated training. Prior law enforcement experience is preferred.

The position requires shift work, patrol, service of civil process, warrants and other court related documents, and other duties as needed. Applicants must be able to work with the public under duress.
