Modern Woodmen of America, a fraternal financial organization, recently recognized Chris Fisher as a Hometown Hero for his work with area youth.
In recognition of the award, Modern Woodmen presented a donation to a charitable organization of Fisher’s choosing.
Fisher chose God’s Covering, who assists children in need in the Alleghany Highlands through the Snack Pack program.
