Dunlap Creek near Humpback Bridge was left a near solid sheet of ice earlier this week due to bitterly cold temperatures and snow.
Tuesday’s surprise snowfall which dropped about four inches of snow was followed by temperatures that plummeted to near zero.
The mercury rose Saturday to the 50s, but ice and snow return to the forecast early next week.
