Carolyn Deaton Nall, formerly of Clifton Forge, went to be with the Lord November 28, 2014 in Louisville, Kentucky.

She lived in Palm Beach Gardens and after many years as a stay at home mom, retired as bookkeeper from JDM Country Club until she moved with Bill to Keystone Heights, Florida.

She loved her family, friends, talking on her cell phone, a good cup of coffee and her cats.
She is preceded in death by her husband John William (Bill) Nall in 2005,  her parents George and Lillian Deaton, sisters Ruth Gallion (Cecil), and Dorothy (Dickie) Deaton,  brothers Ralph Deaton (wife Betty Ann), Robert Deaton (wife Joann), brothers-in-law Mike Traub and Lewis Bruffey.
She is survived by her sisters Margie Traub formerly of Richmond Virginia, Eleanor Bruffey of Clifton Forge, Virginia and brother George Deaton (Beth) of Raleigh, North Carolina. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews and extended family.
Also surviving are her children Renee Garcia (John), of Weaverville NC, grandson Cody Davis, Lynn Haley of Louisville Kentucky, granddaughter Victoria Hoelzle (Scott) great grand-daughter Olivia of Knightdale, North Carolina, Cherie Rollen (John) of Gainesville, Florida, grandchildren April Shuster (Rama) and great grandchildren Rama Van, Alana and Amelia of Tallahassee, Fl., Shannon Snyder of Jennings, Florida, and Leslie Mendenhall, granddaughter Michelle Brockman(Jason),of West Palm Beach, Florida and granddaughter Christina Mendenhall of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Online messages can be placed on archlheadywestport.com website.
The family greatly appreciates the wonderful care given to Carolyn during her stay at the Episcopal Church Home.

Memorial gifts can be sent to The Episcopal Church Home Employee Christmas Fund 7504 Westport Road Louisville, Kentucky 40222 or to St. Luke’s Chapel 7504 Westport Road Louisville, KY 40222 to the attention of Lynn Haley.
