Local Students Graduate From Bridgewater

BRIDGEWATER – Three students from Covington were among 357 seniors graduated at Bridgewater College May 12.

Receiving diplomas were:

Ashley Cauley, psychology;

Jeremy A. Craghead, art;

Danielle Dulaney, biology.

Speaker was Dr. Darla Deardorff, a 1992 graduate of Bridgewater College, who is executive director of the Association of International Education Administrators, a national professional organization based at Duke University.

Among the 357 students graduating, 111 earned bachelor of arts degrees, 227 earned bachelor of science degrees and 19 are scheduled to complete degree requirements during summer school sessions.

The college’s president, George Cornelius, conferred the degrees.
