A Celebration of Life Service and Committal for Rev. Donna Bennett Coffman will be held July 21, 11:00 AM at Hoke Chapel (UMC) Cemetery on Ogle Creek Rd, west of Covington, VA.
Fellowship will follow. Casual, cool, celebration attire is recommended.
Donna passed away on March 28, at her home in Fuquay Varina, NC, following a valiant 25-year battle with cancer.
She was surrounded by the love of her family.
A native of Covington, Donna was married for 49 ¾ years to Terry Coffman and had two children, Shawn of Charlotte, NC and Heather Daniels of Fuquay Varina, NC, and seven grandchildren.
Her spirit was indominable and her life contribution was enormous as a geriatric RN, an ordained Presbyterian minister, a guilded Appalachian craftsman, author and magnificent mother, grandmother and friend. Serving God and others was her hallmark.
