WREATHS ACROSS AMERICA IMPORTANT DATES
We are well under way with Wreaths Across America. The ceremony will be held December 19th at 12:00 pm in Cedar Hill Cemetery. It is hard to believe it’s almost time and we wanted the community to know the deadline for ordering a wreath is November 13, 2026. Please see any member of the committee – Linda Morrison, Marian Paxton, Brenda Linkenhoker, Linda Boggs, Phil Amick, Cynthia Baroody or Lisa Worley if you need a form or information or you can go directly to www.wreathsacrossamerica.org/VACEHC.
For those who ordered wreaths for cemeteries other than Cedar Hill Cemetery, Brenda Linkenhoker will be distributing wreaths December 17 and 18 from 12:00 to 4:00 PM at the Discovery Center at 227 North Main Street. We will have a short program prior to laying the wreaths on December 19th if you would like to attend the ceremony and pick up your wreath at that time. Checks can still be sent to Marian Paxton at P O Box 1015, Covington, Virginia 24426.
For those of you who have volunteered to help place wreaths on December 19th, we thank you in advance for your support. If anyone would like to volunteer to help, you can reach out to a committee member or go to www.wreathsacrossamerica.org/VACEHC.
Thank you for your support in this special program to honor the fallen. Never forget.
