CITY OF COVINGTON OFFICES
COLUMBUS DAY CLOSING INFORMATION

Monday, October 12, 2026

All City of Covington Offices and State Offices will be closing Friday, October 9, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. Refuse for Friday, October 9, 2026 will run as normal. Your refuse collection will be picked up earlier than normal; so please sit refuse out by 7:00 a.m. that morning. We will also be closed on Monday, October 12, 2026, in observance of Columbus Day. Refuse collection for Monday, October 12, 2026, will be collected on Tuesday, October 13, 2026. State Offices (Commissioner of Revenue, Treasurer, and Registrar) will also be closed. All offices will reopen on Tuesday, October 13, 2026.
