Wanda Hoke

Wanda Kidd Hoke, age 60 , formerly of 815 Market Street, Iron Gate, Virginia died Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Heritage Hall Nursing Home in Lexington, Virginia.
She was born February 19, 1950 in Clifton Forge, to the late Stuart Eugene and Louise Daniel Kidd.

She was a production worker for H. O. Canfield and a member of Iron Gate Advent Christian Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elbie Hoke.
She is survived by a daughter, Allene “Lena” Deacon and husband Bobby of Natural Bridge; a son, Dusty Thurston; grandchildren, Erin Deacon, Caleb Deacon, and Emily Deacon; great granddaughter, Aurora Gregg; sister, Sandra “Sandy” Shaffer and husband John; brother, Thomas Kidd and wife Donna of Clifton Forge; and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 3, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with Reverend Victor Nicely officiating.

Following the service, the body will be cremated and a private interment will take place at a later date in Crown Hill Cemetery, Clifton Forge.

The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Nicely Funeral Home and other times at the home of John and Sandy Shaffer, 909 Market Street, Iron Gate, VA.
