BRIDGEWATER, Va. (VR) – Two former Alleghany standouts made their first cross country appearances for West Virginia Tech on Tuesday evening at Bridgewater College.
Maddox Wickline and Evan Bishop, both 2026 Alleghany graduates, competed in the Eagle Cross Country Challenge.
Wickline finished 19th overall with a time of 22:47.0, while Bishop followed in 20th at 22:51.8.
The meet marked the first competition for both runners since committing to continue their careers at West Virginia Tech.
