Charles Randolph “Charlie” Tucker, Sr., 77, of 6701 Bens Run Road, died Tuesday November 7, 2017 at his residence.
He was born December 24, 1939 in Alleghany County, a son of the late Bill Saldler Tucker and Cindy Wolfe Tucker.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Charles R. Tucker, Jr. and a grandson, Wyatt S. Givens and also by four sisters and two brothers.
Mr. Tucker retired from VDOT in 1988 as a Truck Drive after 23 years of service.
Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Vonda Downey Tucker of Covington; Three daughters Linda Campbell and her husband Larry; Erma Lee Tucker and Todd Lawhorn and Nancy Givens and her husband Greg all of Covington; 6 grandchildren, Tara and Roy Craft; Kelly and Gary Hepler; Neveda Campbell and Casey Bush; Cody and Victoria Givens; Tiffany Tucker and Zack Givens; Two great grandchildren, Grant Craft and Alexis Craft; one sister Charlotte Hiser of Eagle Rock and a number of nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Friday November 10, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Arritt Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will be made in Lone Star Cemetery.
The family will receive their friends on Thursday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Arritt Funeral Home.
