COVINGTON, VA (VR) – Get ready for a unique celebration that combines the warmth of summer with the magic of the holiday season. Covington Parks and Recreation is inviting the community to its Summer Holiday Extravaganza, taking place on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at the Jackson River Sport Complex.
The event promises a fun-filled day for families, local businesses, and visitors of all ages. A Holiday Market will be open from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., featuring a variety of local vendors offering handmade crafts, gifts, seasonal items, and more. Vendor spaces are available for just $10, with all vendor fees benefiting the STARS program, making it an opportunity to support a meaningful community cause while showcasing local products.
The festivities continue into the evening with STARS in Concert, beginning at 6:00 p.m. Attendees can enjoy live entertainment in a festive atmosphere that blends holiday cheer with summer fun.
