ALLEGHANY COUNTY, Va.  – There is an active search and rescue operation taking place in the park. There is no threat to the public. Visitors may notice an increased presence of law enforcement and other public safety vehicles in the area. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as personnel carry out their work.
