Virginia State Police Investigating Alleghany County Fatal Crash

ALLEGHANY COUNTY, VA (VR) – Virginia State Police is investigating a single-vehicle crash, which resulted in a fatality. The crash occurred Saturday (Jul 4) at 1:54 p.m. on Route 42, one mile south of Nicely Town Road in Alleghany County.

A 2002 Chevrolet S-10 was traveling on Route 42, when the vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected crossing the roadway and overturned.

The 68-year-old driver was identified as Pamela Clark Hall, of Millboro, Va. Ms. Hall was wearing her seatbelt and died at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
