1. Council to vote to allow councilman Wolfe to attend the council meeting by telephone.

RECOMMENDATION: Approve the attendance of councilman Wolfe by phone.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Minutes Council Meeting June 9, 2026

RECOMMENDATION: Approve the minutes for June 9, 2026.

ACTION ITEMS

1) To conduct the second reading of the proposed budget for fiscal year 2026/2027.

RECOMMENDATION: Waive the second reading and move to Action Item #2.

2) To consider approval of the proposed budget for fiscal year 2026/2027.

A) To consider adoption of an Ordinance imposing and levying Taxes within the Town of Clifton Forge upon Real Property for the Fiscal Year Beginning July 1, 2026, and ending June 30, 2027, and upon Personal Property and Machinery and Tools for the Calendar Year beginning January 1, 2026, and
ending December 31, 2026.

RECOMMENDATION: Approve the adoption of the ordinance imposing and levying taxes within the Town of Clifton Forge upon Real Property for the Fiscal Year beginning July 1, 2026, and ending June 30, 2027, and upon Personal Property and Machinery and Tools for the calendar year beginning January 1, 2026, and ending December 31, 2026.

B) To consider adoption of an Ordinance to Amend Section 86-95, Water Service Charges and Fees beginning July 1, 2026, with no increase to the Monthly Rate per EDU of $41.80.

RECOMMENDATION: Approve the adoption of the Ordinance to amend Section 86-95, water service charges and fees beginning July 1, 2026, with no increase to the monthly rate per EDU of $41.80.

C) To consider the adoption of Ordinance to amend Section 86-556, Sewer Service Charge and Fees beginning July 1, 2026, with no increase to the monthly rate per EDU to $72.20.

RECOMMENDATION: Approve the adoption of Ordinance to amend Section 86-556, sewer service charge and fees beginning July 1, 2026, no increase monthly to the rate per EDU to $72.20.

D) To consider adoption of a Resolution Adopting the Fiscal Year 2026-2027 Operating Budget and Capital Budget for the Town of Clifton Forge, Virginia, and Appropriating the Requisite Funds for said Budget.

RECOMMENDATION: Approve the adoption of a Resolution adopting the Fiscal Year 2026-2027 operating budget and capital budget for the Town of
