Cougars Set for Quarterfinal Clash at Casey Field Friday at Noon

The Cougars (16-4, No. 4 seed) will face the winner of Wednesday’s game between Liberty Christian Academy Bulldogs and Waynesboro Generals. Liberty Christian enters at 13-6, while Waynesboro sits at 9-11.

Alleghany has already handled Waynesboro twice this season, winning 14-1 on the road and 15-6 at home.

The Cougars have put together a strong 16-win season and now move into win-or-go-home postseason baseball with a trip to the semifinals on the line. Friday at Casey Field will decide who moves on.
