ELKS ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

Clifton Forge Elks Lodge 1065 was recently awarded the Andy Anderson Presidential Achievement Award at the state convention in Virginia Beach. This is the most prestigious award that a lodge can achieve. The criteria for winning the award are that the lodge’s Exalted Ruler must compete in the Eleventh Hour toast contest, the lodge must pay 100 percent of the cost of their quota of children attending the Youth Camp and the lodge must send at least 75 percent of their quota of children attending the Youth Camp. The lodge must also conduct a Hoop Shoot contest; it must meet the Grand Exalted Ruler’s per capita ENF contribution, and the lodge must have a gain in membership for the fraternal year. Only six lodges were awarded the coveted Andy Anderson Presidential Achievement Award. Here displaying the award is Chris Hutchison, 2017-18 Clifton Forge Elks Lodge 1065 exalted ruler.
