LOW-MOOR, Va. – Alleghany Highlands Public Schools will operate on a two-hour delay on Tuesday, March 3, due to anticipated weather conditions.

According to the National Weather Service, temperatures are expected to be near freezing early Tuesday morning. These conditions may create slick spots on area roadways. Some mixed precipitation is also possible. The Highlands remains under a weather advisory.

School officials will continue to monitor weather and road conditions and will communicate any additional schedule changes through the division’s regular notification systems.
