ALLEGHANY COUNTY, Va. (VR) – The Alleghany Humane Society is offering a special reduced-cost spay and neuter program for cats and dogs, made possible by the kindness of a generous donor.

For a limited time, the public can schedule spay or neuter surgeries for just $100, and the price includes a rabies vaccine. This initiative is designed to help make responsible pet ownership more affordable while reducing pet overpopulation in our community.

Feral cats are eligible for an even lower-cost option, helping caregivers and colony managers continue their important work in controlling and caring for community cat populations.

This special pricing is available only while funds last, so pet owners are encouraged to schedule appointments as soon as possible.

To schedule an appointment or learn more, call 540-862-2436 or visit the Alleghany Humane Society during business hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.

Don’t miss this opportunity to protect your pet’s health while helping reduce pet overpopulation in Alleghany and surrounding communities.
