Annual Fishing for a Cause Announces Date and Recipient for Upcoming Tournament

COVINGTON, Va. (VR)  – The Annual Fishing for a Cause tournament has officially announced the date and beneficiary for its upcoming event, continuing a tradition of combining a love for fishing with a commitment to helping those in need.

The 2026 tournament will take place on May 9, 2026, running from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., and promises another memorable day on the water for anglers and supporters alike.

This year’s tournament will benefit Christina Lopez, who has been named the 13th recipient of Fishing for a Cause. Organizers shared that they are honored to support Christina and her family through this event and are grateful for the community’s continued generosity and prayers.
