Alleghany County Governmental Complex to be Closed on February 16 in Observance of President’s Day

 The following offices will be closed on Monday, February 16, 2026 in observance of Presidents Day:

∙ County Offices located in the Alleghany County Governmental Complex, 9212 Winterberry Avenue, Covington, VA

These offices will reopen for business on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.

The Island Ford Transfer Station will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on February 16th.
