County Supervisors To Meet Tuesday At Low Moor Governmental Complex

LOW?MOOR?— The Alleghany County Board of Supervisors will meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Low Moor governmental complex.
The board will receive a monthly update from Susan Hammond of the Virginia Department of Transportation.
Under unfinished business, the board will appoint two members to a joint services negotiating committee.
New business will include:
— Proposed amendments to the county’s pay classification plan.
— A resolution supporting calls for increased funding to the National Park System.
— A grant application to the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation for Phase IV of the Jackson River Scenic Trail.
There will be a closed session to discuss a prospective business or industry.
