LOW MOOR, Va. (VR) – Maverick Oliver, left, and Norah Arritt read My Favorite Book in Hannah Porterfield’s first-grade class at Mountain View Elementary. Local businesses, including Loving Funeral Home, Gerald Franson Insurance, Nicely Funeral Home, Arritt Funeral Home, Highlands Community Bank, Cucci’s Pizzeria, The Rail, and Wright Way Motors, provided a copy for every student. This gesture continues the community’s tradition of supporting young readers. The story encourages children to try their best, make good choices, and take pride in their efforts.  (AHPS Photo)
