COVINGTON, Va. (VR) – On October 23, 2025, at approximately 8:16 a.m., officers with the Covington Police Division responded to Vape and More at 916 S. Monroe Ave. for a report of a shattered front door. Upon arrival, officers discovered that the glass door had been broken, and several THC-related products had been stolen. Surveillance video showed a male suspect throwing a rock through the door around 2:00 a.m., entering the store, and taking approximately $800 worth of merchandise before fleeing the scene.
Through the course of the investigation, witnesses provided information, and surveillance videos eventually led to the arrest of Issac Kimberlin, a 24-year-old man who resides in Covington. Kimberlyn was subsequently located and arrested on October 31st and was charged with (§ 18.2-91. Entering a dwelling house, etc., with intent to commit larceny.) If convicted, Kimberlin could face up to twenty years in prison and a $2,500 fine.
