MARTINSVILLE Va. (VR- Alleghany senior Kaylee Nicely has announced her verbal commitment to continue her academic and athletic career at Patrick & Henry Community College, where she will join the Patriots softball program.

“I am so excited for this opportunity,” Kaylee said. “I’ve been blessed with so many great teammates and coaches throughout the years, and I’m thankful for every single person who has encouraged and supported me. I wouldn’t be here without God, my family, and my friends.”

Patrick & Henry competes in Region X of the National Junior College Athletic Association and has built a strong reputation in softball. Kaylee will look to bring her talents and work ethic to the Patriots as she continues her playing career at the next level.
