COVINGTON, Va. (VR) -Dr. Kevin Slaughter of Slaughter & Slaughter Family Dentistry in Clifton Forge spoke about “Oral Hygiene as We Age” during the June 26 meeting of the Mountain Toppers Healthy Aging Program, held at the Alleghany Highlands Regional Library in Covington. Lunch from the Food Lion deli was co-sponsored by Slaughter & Slaughter Family Dentistry and ConnectionsPlus Healthcare + Hospice. Eric Gutierrez, M.A., L.P.C., with Bath Community Physicians will be the guest speaker for the Thursday, July 17, Mountain Toppers meeting. The topic of discussion will be “Staying Mentally Healthy by Avoiding Common Pitfalls.” The program and lunch will be provided by Bath Community Hospital. The Mountain Toppers Healthy Aging Program is supported by the Alleghany Highlands Regional Library, the Alleghany Highlands YMCA Healthy Highlands Program and
