LYNCHBURG, Va. (VR) – The Virginia Commonwealth Games at Liberty University, organized by Virginia Amateur Sports (VAS), is excited to host Swimming on June 20 – 22 at the Liberty University Natatorium in Lynchburg.  Over 600 athletes will be competing this weekend!

Like with all VA Commonwealth Games events, Bronze, Silver and Gold medals will be awarded. Visit CommonwealthGames.org for more information on these events and to see the full list of sports.

For 36 years, the Virginia Commonwealth Games have provided excellent opportunities for thousands of Virginians to develop and foster new relationships, establish new goals and personal bests, while at the same time learning teamwork, sportsmanship, as well as individual team responsibilities.

Save the date for Main Games weekend – July 18-20, which always upholds a positive reputation with the community for bolstering tourism and serving as an economic engine to the host city each year.

“Liberty University is honored to partner with Virginia Amateur Sports to host the 2025 Virginia Commonwealth Games. We have valued this partnership over the last several years, and it’s a privilege to share our campus once again for this great event. As we welcome these talented athletes and their families to Liberty, we also encourage all of our guests to explore the beautiful city of Lynchburg.” – Ian McCaw, Liberty University VP and Director of Athletics.

Presented by ABC 13, Liberty University, the City of Lynchburg, MH Masonry, Delta Star, and Molina Healthcare.
