Sunday, May 11, 2025 Deputy Miller and Deputy Altizer conducted a traffic stop on Mountain Valley Road near Blue Grass Hollow Road.

Sunday, May 11, 2025 Deputy Miller and Deputy Altizer assisted Hot Springs Fire Department at the Village at Cedar Creek with a cat in a tree.

Sunday, May 11. 2025 Deputy Bryan IV and Deputy Miller conducted a traffic stop on Sam Snead Highway near Cavendish Lane.

Monday, May 12, 2025 Deputy T. Plecker responded to Routier Hill for a report of illegal parking.

Monday, May 12, 2025 Deputy T. Plecker responded to a report of a dog in the roadway on Mountain Valley Road near Mill Creek Road.

Monday, May 12, 2025 Sheriff Plecker and Lt. Grimm assisted a disabled vehicle on Sam Snead Highway on Bath House Hill.

Monday, May 12, 2025 Deputy T. Plecker arrested Gabriel Trey Gutshall on a capias from Alleghany County for a probation violation. Deputy T. Plecker transported Gutshall to Alleghany Regional Jail in Covington.

Monday, May 12, 2025 Lt. Grimm responded to a business in Hot Springs to speak with a female in reference to harassing telephone calls.

Monday, May 12, 2025 Deputy Harlow responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle at a residence on Cowpasture River Highway.

Tuesday, May 13, 2025 Deputy Tatumn Harlow responded to a possible motor vehicle accident on Dream Street in Millboro.

Tuesday, May 13, 2025 Deputy D. Smith transported a male inmate from Alleghany Regional Jail in Covington to the Bath County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court at the Courthouse in Warm Springs. Deputy T. Plecker and Sheriff Plecker transported male inmate back to Alleghany Regional Jail at the conclusion of court.

Tuesday, May 13, 2025 Deputy D. Smith responded to a disabled tractor trailer on Mountain Valley Road near the Dan Ingalls Overlook.

Tuesday, May 13, 2025 Deputy T. Plecker responded to a residence on Sam Snead Highway near Carloover Lane for several stray cats. Cats were taken to the Bath County Animal Shelter.

Friday, May 16, 2025 Deputy D. Smith responded to a report of a deer carcass on Sam Snead Highway near Fox Trot Lane. Carcass was removed from the roadway and reported to VDOT Smart Traffic Center.

Bath County Sheriff’s Office emergency communications officers answered 296 incoming calls and made 150 outbound calls during this time period.
