City of Covington Offices to Close Early May 23 and Remain Closed Through Memorial Day

COVINGTON, Va. (VR) – City of Covington offices will be closing early at noon on Friday, May 23, 2025, for employee appreciation and will remain closed Monday, May 26, 2025, in observance of Memorial Day. Peter’s Mountain Landfill and State Offices (Commissioner of Revenue, Treasurer, and Registrar) will also be closed.

Refuse collection for Monday, May 26, 2025, will be collected on Tuesday, May 27, 2025.

All offices will reopen on Tuesday, May 27, 2025.
