Ramonia Joyce Dudley Arrington
Ramonia Joyce Dudley Arrington, age 85, of 2615 Dogwood Avenue, Covington, Virginia died on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at her residence.
Joyce was born on October 14, 1939, in Alleghany County, Virginia to the late Otha E. Dudley and Bessie Mae (Dudley) Dudley. She was a homemaker throughout her life and attended Cliffdale Christian Church. She enjoyed reading, following NASCAR, and watching Days of Our Lives.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six brothers, two sisters, and a son-in-law, Bo Montgomery.
She is survived by her husband, Eagon McDonald “Donnie” Arrington of Covington; three daughters, Lorrie Montgomery of Buena Vista, Donna Higdon (Kenny) of Covington, and Misty Wegman of Martinsburg, WV; a son, Preston Arrington (Christy) of Covington; five grandchildren, Eric Montgomery (Hilary), Emily Dorman (Alex), Elijah Wegman, Enoch Wegman, and Kenzie Arrington; two great grandchildren, Quinn and Emmett Montgomery; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate Family.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 9, 2025, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with Reverend Raymond Christian officiating. Interment will follow in Alleghany Memorial Park, Low Moor. The family will receive friends on Friday afternoon from 1:00 PM until the time of service at Nicely Funeral Home.
