CLITFON FORGE, Va. (VR) — The Greenbrier Valley Chapter of Sigma Xi, Jackson River Governor’s School, and Mountain Gateway Community College will sponsor a seminar for students of the Jackson River Governor’s School on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. The seminar will take place in Room 424 of Warren Hall on the MGCC campus.
The event will feature Sigma Xi Distinguished Lecturer Karen Strier, Ph.D., Professor of Anthropology at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Dr. Strier will present a lecture titled:
“Primates and Conservation in a Rapidly Changing World”
