COVINGTON, Va. (VR) – First Christian Church in Covington will conduct celebration services on Easter Sunday.
A son-rise service will be held at 7:00 a.m. in the church sanctuary with hymns, scriptures, communion, and a message emphasizing the resurrection of Jeus Christ from the dead. A breakfast will follow in the Family Life Center.
Following the 9:30 Sunday School hour, a 10:30 worship service will be held. Scott Humphries will play piano pre-service music and accompany the congregational singing of favorite Easter hymns. A message and communion service will also follow.
The church is located at 231 E. Fudge Street with plenty of parking in the rear.
