COVINGTON, Va. (VR) – Covington was bursting with color and cheer on Saturday as the Easter Bunny made a grand appearance leading the annual Easter Parade through downtown. Bikes, motorized cars, and strollers—each one creatively decked out in bright Easter decor—rolled by, creating a festive and family-friendly spectacle.

Despite the overcast skies and a lingering chill in the air, the weather didn’t stop a large crowd of enthusiastic participants from turning out for the fun. The celebration continued at the City Park, where dozens of excited children gathered for the much-anticipated Easter egg hunt. The park’s fields were scattered with hundreds of colorful eggs, and even the tiniest participants got in on the fun, waddling through the grass with baskets in hand and big smiles on their faces.

One of the highlights of the day was the chance to snap a photo with the star of the event—none other than the Easter Bunny himself. Long lines formed as families waited for their moment to capture the memory.
