Quinton “Duane” Cox
 
Quinton “Duane” Cox, 35, of Covington, VA, passed away on February 4, 2025.
 
Duane was born in Alleghany County, VA, the son of Malissa Cox Wiseman and William Lawrence Berry.
 
Duane worked as a contractor supervisor for Everything Pools, Decks & More.
 
Duane loved going to Cape Hatteras, North Carolina, to fish with his father, brother, and family. He enjoyed motocross, riding dirt bikes and listening to music by TechN9ne and Yelawolf.
 
Anywhere Duane went, he would make people laugh. He always knew what to say to put a smile on your face. Duane was loved by many and will be deeply missed. His family will forever cherish the memories they had with him.
 
Remaining to cherish Duane’s memory are his daughter, Lily Anna Walkup; parents, Malissa Cox Wiseman (John Broy Sr.) and William Lawrence Berry; grandmother, Nana Ruby; brother, Billy Berry (Camilla Berry); sisters, Marina Berry, Kristian Wiseman, Skyler Fridley; and nieces and nephews.
 
Preceded in death by stepmother, Nadine Berry; grandparents, Catherine Berry and Robert Berry.
 
There will be no service at this time. A Celebration of Life will be planned for the future.
