CLIFTON FORGE, Va. (VR) – On February 26, Mountain Gateway Community College celebrated the induction of new members into the Alpha Eta Omicron chapter of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.

Phi Theta Kappa, established in 1918, is the largest honor society in American higher education, with over 1.3 million members in the U.S. and internationally. The society recognizes and encourages the academic achievement of two-year college students, offering opportunities for growth through honors, leadership, and service programming. To be eligible for PTK, students must have completed at least 12 credit hours with a minimum GPA of 3.5. Co-advisors for PTK are Lee Anne Bowling and Rachael Thompson.

Congratulations to the new inductees: Karen Alford, Hallie Hostetter, MacKenzie Carter, Kathryn Johnson, Olivia Chittum, Preston McAllister, Michael Clark, Kyleigh Mills, Michael Devlin, Amber Oelke Dileggi, Kathryn Dudley, Sara Pelkey, Bella Fuller, Harlie Reynolds, Andrew Harless, Christine Rothwell, Kabreya Henderson, Casey Southall, Andrea Higgins, and Christina Terrell.
