Monday, January 20, 2025 – U.S. President Donald J. Trump has been sworn into office as the country’s 47th president of the United States of America. Following the inauguration ceremony, U.S. Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) issued the following statement:

“I congratulate President Trump and Vice President Vance on today’s proceedings, in which they took their oaths of office. Now that they are sworn in, a new Administration can get to work and address the challenges that they were elected by the American people to solve.

“It is an absolute honor to serve the people of Virginia’s Ninth District. I look forward to working with this new Administration and advancing important priorities for the American people.”
