COVINGTON, Va. (VR) – Patsy’s, serving the Alleghany Highlands for over 40 years, has some news to share. We are excited to announce that through January 31st Patsy’s Dance Studio will have open enrollment for new students, for all classes.

Patsy’s has added morning yoga classes in partnership with Jackson River Yoga. Specializing in Chair Yoga and Flow classes, classes are free, donations accepted, and all experience levels welcomed. Follow Jackson River Yoga on FB to stay up to date on any schedule changes and/or cancellations.

Creative Kids classes (owner Angel Robertson) are also being held at Patsy’s Dance Studio. Angel has worked as a pediatric Occupational Therapy Assistant for over five years. These classes offer play/social groups for children (ages 5 months – 5 years) and their caregivers. Class activities may include (but not limited to): music, instruments, crafts, sensory exploration, and play based activities. The schedule for Creative Kids can be found on Facebook or by contacting Angel at 540-691-9443.

Aerobics has returned to Patsy’s as well! With 25 – 30 years of experience and with a passion to keep moving, the instructor, Wanda Nugent, teaches low impact classes as well as incorporating body toning with bands. Classes are held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 10:00 am – 11:00 am. Friday classes are followed by 30 minutes of stretching and relaxation by Tony from Jackson River Yoga. The schedule can be found on Patsysdancestudio.com
