Approval of Minutes
Minutes Council Meeting December 10, 2024
Recommendation: Approve the minutes of December 10, 2024

ACTION ITEMS
1. Department Reports
a. Code Enforcement
b. Police Department
c. Public Works
d. Water Treatment Plant
e. Library
f. Fire Department

Recommendation: Approve the reports as submitted and written.

2. To conduct a second reading of the tax relief ordinance pertaining to widows of fallen officers and consider approval of the
ordinance
Recommendation: Waive second reading and approve the ordinance

3.
a. To consider declaring pipe and ductile pipe as surplus property (three photos included in binder)
b. To consider declaring a 2013 F350 single cab with salt boxes and plow as surplus property; The bed is shot, and the truck takes spells of losing power and will not pull hills.

Recommendation: Declare pipe and ductile pipe, as well as the 2013 Ford F350 as surplus property.

4. To consider giving town employees five additional comp days to be used in calendar year 2025
Recommendation: Approve the addition of five comp days to be used in the calendar year 2025.

The Council for the Town of Clifton Forge will enter closed session pursuant to Virginia Code Sections 2.2-3711 (A)(3) and 2.2-3711 (A)(1) to discuss town owned real estate and personnel.

Note: There may be additional action item after returning from closed session.
