LOW MOOR — The Alleghany County Board of Supervisors will meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Low Moor governmental complex.
There will be a public hearing to consider amendments to the county code in relation to nuisance companion animals straying or trespassing.
Susan Hammond of the Virginia Department of Transportation, will provide supervisors with a monthly update.
Unfinished business will include:
— An appointment to the Board of Building Code Appeals.
New business includes:
— Ryan Muterspaugh, director of public safety, with an update on a radio system project.
— Supplemental appropriations the sheriff’s office (insurance proceeds), economic development (Opportunity Zone grant award), and asset forfeiture (fund balance).
An appointment to the Industrial Development Authority.
There will be a closed meeting to discuss actual or probable litigation.
The meeting will then adjourn to Tuesday, March 24, at 6 p.m.
