Junior Miss Queen Of Hearts Pageant Saturday At 6 p.m. At Curfman Hall, Covington High School

The annual Junior Miss Queen of Hearts will be held Saturday at 6 p.m. at Covington High School’s Curfman Hall.

Admission to the pageant is $5 and proceeds benefit the Alleghany Heart Unit in their goal to raise money for the American Heart Association.

Twenty young ladies will compete for the crown at the pageant.

The contestants include:

Ashley Boguess

Ashley Michaela Boguess is the 15-year-old daughter of Michael and Kimberly Boguess of Covington. She is a freshman at Covington High School. Her sponsor is Penny’s Pioneer Salon.

Mariellen Booze

Mariellen Renee Booze is the 16-year-old daughter of Steven and Joy Booze of Covington. She is a sophomore at Covington High School. Her sponsor is Garlynda and Giaynna Haynes of Garlynda’s Fancy Feet.

Samantha Bowers

Samantha Renee Bowers is the 14-year-old daughter of Tony and Beverly Bowers of Alleghany County. She is a freshman at Alleghany High School. Her sponsor is the Law Office of David B. Davis.

Allyson Burton

Allyson Danielle Burton is the 13-year-old daughter of Paula Burton of Covington and Greg Burton of Covington. She is in eighth grade at Covington High School. Her sponsor is Garlynda’s Fancy Feet Dance Studio/Garlynda and Giaynna Haynes.

Megan Cales

Megan Lorraine Cales is the 14-year-old daughter of Timmy and Jennifer Cales of Callaghan. She is in eighth grade at Clifton Middle School. Her sponsor is R.L. Johnston, Inc.

Emily Comer

Emily Frances Comer is the 13-year-old daughter of Junior and Jennifer Comer of Covington. She is in eighth grade at Covington High School. Her sponsor is Creative Fabrication, Inc.

Victoria Donovan

Victoria Paige Donovan is the 15-year-old daughter of Tammy Donovan of Covington. She is in eighth grade at Covington High School. Her sponsor is The Shoe Box and Sports Center.

Linda Ellis

Linda Elizabeth Ellis is the 14-year-old daughter of Billy Joe and Teresa Ellis of Covington. She is in eighth grade at Clifton Middle School. Her sponsor is Whitey’s One Stop.

Lacy Hall

Lacy Marie Hall is the 14-year-old daughter of Jerry and Kathy Hall of Longdale Furnace Road, Clifton Forge. She is a freshman at Alleghany High School. Her sponsor is CSX Transportation.

Kimberly Keyser

Kimberly Keyser is the 14-year-old daughter of Gary and Bobbie Keyser of Alleghany County. She is in eighth grade at Covington High School. Her sponsor is Keyser Home Improvements.

Ashley Meadows

Ashley Danielle Meadows is the 14-year-old daughter of Dale and Liberty Meadows of Clifton Forge. She is a freshman at Alleghany High School. Her sponsor is Cafe Michels.

Lacy Meyer

Lacy Kathleen Meyer is the 15-year-old daughter of Jerry and Susan Meyer of Clifton Forge. She is a sophomore at Alleghany High School. Her sponsor is Big Fat Jerry’s Seasoning and The Club Car.

Blayne Oliver

Whitley Antoinette “Blayne” Oliver is the 15-year-old daughter of Marcia and Billy Oliver of Alleghany County. She is a freshman at Alleghany High School. Her sponsor is Oliver Distributing Company.

Mahaley Reyns

Mahaley Anne Marie Reyns is the 13-year-old daughter of Frank and April Reyns of Covington. She is in eighth grade at Covington High School. Her sponsor is B&G Sewing.

Kasey Ruble

Kasey Star Ruble is the 14-year-old daughter of Jaime Bruce of Alleghany County. She is a freshman at Alleghany High School. Her sponsor is Crawford Photography.

Angel Shiflett

Angel Noel Shiflett is the 14-year-old daughter of Troy S. Shiflett of Covington and the late Amy Pullin Shiflett. She is a freshman at Alleghany High School. Her sponsor is Michelle Shamblin of Guys and Dolls.

Miranda Smithers

Miranda Allison Smithers is the 14-year-old daughter of Melissa and Steven Spinks of Covington. She is in eighth grade at Covington High School. Her sponsor is Cato’s.

Burke Staunton

Burke Alessandra Staunton is the 13-year-old daughter of Kit and Karen Staunton of Alleghany County. She is in eighth grade at Covington High School. Her sponsor is Alessandra’s Original Jewelry Designs.

Hannah Tingler

Hannah Tingler is the 13-year-old daughter of Christine and George Tingler of Alleghany County. She is in eighth grade at Clifton Middle School. Her sponsor is Willy T’s Bar-B-Q.

Tiana Warlitner

Tiana Nicole Warlitner is the 14-year-old daughter of Tarie Warlitner of Clifton Forge. She is a freshman at Alleghany High School. Her sponsor is H&R Block of Covington.
