The Alleghany County Sheriff’s Office has announced two recent promotions.
First Lt. Casey Gibson has been promoted to captain over the Patrol Division and will be in charge of the scheduling and day to day operations, along with continuing as ERT Commander.
Second Lt. Richard Fridley has been promoted to the rank of first lieutenant and be responsible for patrol officer’s training and certification, working alongside the captain.
First Lt. Fridley will also assume scheduling duties in the absence of the captain.
Both promotions were effective as of Monday, June 1.
